Bipolar?

Sat Aug 23, 2008, 4:52 PM
Uh.

A few days ago I spilled water on my keyboard and now a few of them don't work properly, or at all. It's a laptop, so it might be a problem. I actually have 3 or 4 pieces to post, but I don't want to write all those comments using the onscreen keyboard (like i am now.)

The past few days have been intense. Yesterday I went to an amazing concert and jumped and sang, and today the guy I was rooting for in th Olympics won the gold medal and I went ballistic, and a rock fell on my dad's foot and I had to go to the clinic with him, where I had to go anyway to remove the stitches I had from extracting a tooth, and tomorrow I'm going on a one week camping trip, and to top it all I've been swimming like a maniac to release some energy (which is totally out of character for me - I'm so enrolling on a gym this year). I'm fucking exhausted. And I had to type this crap twice because Opera is a mean bitch. I really had to let it out even if it is through this lame excuse for a keyboard.

Seriously, I'm a zombie on crack right now. Gotta go sleep, see you in a week.

Don't overdo yourself! D: Though sometimes few days with a filled programme can be awesome, a person needs some time to regain some strength <3 Looking back at all you have done can give you a kick afterwards, haha. (Or so I feel)

The keyboard sucks, though =( Maybe they can replace the keyboard section and save the rest? I'm not REALLY that much of a computer technician so I won't say too much, but it seems to me a keyboard would be saveable :3

Sweet dreams!

Well, it's been over a week so I'm fine now. It was weird, though. I still don't know what the heck was going on. I was probably reaaally tired. : |

Anyway. Yes, I'm pretty sure I can replace the keyboard. The computer works prefectly fine, it's just the keyboard that's malfunctioning. The thing is, I don't want it to take too long or be super expensive. I've read that someone had to pay about 100 dollars to get a laptop keyboard replaced, and I've also read that you can get a 20 bucks keyboard and do it yourself. So I'm not really sure what to do. o_o I'll probably ask around in a few places.

Thanks for the support! It was really sweet of you. :)

8D We had this crafting lesson in elementary school once. It consisted of us bringing old things like keyboards and cooking utilities and taking them apart to make something else out of it. It was indeed possible to take they keys of the keyboard. I don't know if the person who did that completely wrecked the frame under it, though. 8D Though you've probably fixed this by now, since I'm terribly slow with replying XD

And you're welcome. <3 Everyone needs a little support now and then.
