Whiney rant ahead. I'd never written one, so bear with me. 8D

It's that time of the year again. So here I am, in an apartment in the golden coast of my tiny country, in a city that just loooves tourists. Rich tourists with yachts and a beerbelly they insist on trying to lose by playing golf.

Even though I've been spending a couple of weeks here, every year, for over 10 years, I never managed to actually make friends with kids my age. It's like everywhere I look, all I see are fake tans and party animals and pretensious haircuts and lawyers-to-be and brand clothes with too much eyeliner and a buttload of people whose world couldn't be more different from mine. Good times.

Of course I'm only talking about impressions here. I'm sure they're all nice and dandy. Or a few of them. I'm not exactly a social kind of person. There's probably some people like me here, but that's exactly why I haven't met any of them: they're like me. Oh well, I don't really mind anymore. Gives me time away from the distractions back at home. I usually do some serious drawing here. And I catch up with shows too, I'm planning on watching Evangelion while I'm here. So it's all good.

Wow, that was long AND personal. You'd think I absolutely despise it here after you read that. xD I don't. I simply could do without it. I wrote all that out of boredom 'cause over here we're all tired, and my parents and my brother already went to sleep and I'm not sleepy at all. Even though I'm tired. @_@

Anyway, I'll be uploading something soon, it's a lineup of my characters I drew on my little sketchbook a few months ago. It's pretty crappy, but it'll be scrapped when I upload the pimped up digital sheets. 'Cause one of my best friends has no life and visits this account like everyday. Yep, he's a pal. o/

Won't be today, though. I think Ima go to bed and play a bit of Crisis Core (though I'm sharing my room, now <_< ). Or sleep. I'm kinda beat, now.

At least this year I've got teh internetz. And teh tabletz. And who knows, maybe I'll meet some cool kids who totally get me.

*snicker*
